Saint Joseph's High School
Building a school, Monsignor Simon's dream

Message from Monsignor Simon Assamoah:

It is my prayer that St. Joseph’s High School will grow to be like the mustard seed in Matthew gospel (Mt 13:31-32) and that through this school, the Catholic Diocese of Wiawso will provide quality education for the children of this area. Through St. Joseph’s, the diocese will have future leaders for the church, region and country at large.”

From Father Anthony Jones Mensah, Headmaster speaking at the Inauguration and Dedication of St. Joseph’s High School, May 2, 2009:

“St. Joseph Senior High School has a laudable mission and clear vision. The School wants to offer quality education and discipline based on Catholic tradition for the liberation of individuals from their fierce, ignorance and poverty and to equip them with requisite knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of today.”

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the quality education and discipline we envisage, demand strategic planning and massive cost-effective investment in infrastructure, equipment, literature, and human resources. We welcome you aboard to support us financially, and to share your thoughts and ideas with us to achieve the mission and vision of the founding fathers. We are fired up with passion unimaginable and unflinching commitment determined to succeed. It is our vision and indeed our dream that this humble beginning you see here today, will grow to incorporate various branches of higher education like Seminary and University Colleges.”
